One Man's Hands has been proudly providing high quality handmade products from repurposed barrels and reclaimed wood for 10 years. We are now happy to announce that our products are available online.
MY BACKGROUND
My love for building and working with wood started in junior high school and became very real in high school. Under the tutelage of my high school wood shop teacher Warren Rehfuss, I was given the training to create furniture the old way using only joinery (no screws or nails). I worked with him for three years in school and created many pieces, one being his dining room table that we made together.
After many years of putting my love of woodworking on hold (children), I was given a dare by my wife to create a bread and cheese board from a used whiskey barrel.
The stage was set after my first piece. The work was a hit with friends and family and has evolved from there. We offer a variety of pieces, each with their own individual character (no two pieces are quite the same). All items are handcrafted from repurposed barrels and reclaimed wood. A few of my pieces can be seen on the following pages.
